Excire Foto is the right thing if:
You are looking for a powerful and reliable photo management software: manage your photos with Excire Foto and use your favorite app for editing. Keywords can be stored in the photo- or XMP files, so that they can be used in the Windows or Mac Spotlight search. Metadata can also be transferred to Capture One and other apps. Further workflows are described in the Excire Foto manual and the tutorials.

Excire Search 2 PRO is the right choice if:
Adobe Lightroom Classic is your standard photo management software. Our Lightroom Classic Plugin “Excire Search 2 Pro” is fully integrated in Lightroom Classic providing all the information you need to manage your photos and save metadata in photos or XMP files if desired.

The functionalities are almost identical in both products. Please note, however, that the databases of both products are independent of each other and the images must be initialized for both.

Most customers opt for the convenient bundle that provides more flexibility.

Currently, our products do not run on Apple devices with M1 processor. However, we are working on a version and hope to release it for Excire Foto and Excire Search in the first quarter of 2021.

An alternative is to use Rosetta 2: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211861

You are welcome to use our trial version to test if this is an option for you:
